End of Year

It is Nurse's Week - thank your nurses for all they do, they are some of the most amazing people I know.

CCE is over and Amy was Confirmed Sunday. Beautiful ceremony.

Now we are looking forward to summer - or maybe just looking. It will be so busy.

Colt is off for a Summer Duke TIP program from June to July. He still has one orchestra concert and the Middle School Awards night coming up. Aunt Theresa wants him to spend a couple of weeks in Fort Worth. Haven't brought that one up yet.

Amy has Compass Testing coming up, Orchestra banquet/Orchestra Concert, Vacation Bible School, PSAT/SAT Study Course, Drivers Ed classes, and she wants to take a PE course over the summer.

I'm shifting to nights - that in itself is going to be a bit of a challenge. One I'm looking forward to.

And the teacher needs to make some applications for a new job.

Doctor's appointments needing to be made and dentist, too.

Gosh! You make it all sound so grim! Where's your enthusiasm for living life? Think about those poor people in Africa who simply live from day to day on a bowl of rice and nothing to do or accomplish. You sure have it a lot better than them, right? No more complaining - being busy means you're living!

Not complaining, really, just seems like a lot right now. And you know me, wanting to be organized so it all goes smoothly.
My ONS meeting was fantastic tonight. We had a dynamic speaker who really patted all the nurses on the back.
No complaining in this corner:-)
